To and Fro

Posted on June 25, 2012April 3, 2015

Smoke from various wildfires has rolled into the Big Horn Basin, leaving us with the depressing overcast reminiscent of Big City Smog.  It hovers and simmers in the high heat… and once in a while, a tiny whiff of burning wood teases my nose.

It did make for a spectacular sunset tonight… but 99% of the day, it is just plain yukky.

My camera has temporarily gone walkabout (that’s what I get for hauling it everywhere… sometimes I have to go on a tracking expedition to find it…).

Rather than depress you with smokey photos, I am replacing them with photos from last week…

Early morning brilliant blue Wyoming skies… with rain showers dancing to and fro!

Carol, Wyoming rancher

Since 2008, I’ve kept this photographic journal of life on a Wyoming ranch.  I share ranch work, my family, crafts and DIY, my English Shepherd, Bravo, and a love for this land.  Enjoy this red dirt country!
