Some of you have asked about my skulls… painted and otherwise… so I thought I’d answer those questions!
1. The video of my buffalo skull discovery and excavation is a popular post. I don’t envision ever painting it… It remains one of my Treasures just as it is!
2. This small buffalo skull I found in Willow Creek, not far away from my old house.
3. This painted buffalo skull is often how you find them, just the heavy forehead and horns left.
4. This small bull skull has blue beads as well as paint.
5. This black and white and grey bull skull has stylized feathers on the shield of the moon and morning star.
6. A closeup of the bull skull hanging on my studio wall. The Big Dipper, Polaris, and crescent moon are the heart and soul of a buffalo. (not for sale)
The others may be for sale for unreasonable and reasonable prices!

Beautiful and such a wonderful treasure of the old west. It must be so exciting to find one and dig it up! I am so amazed at what all you do. Thanks for sharing.
You painted those yourself? WOW
Sure did! Thanks!
Those are beautiful!
Thank you!
I sure admire your collection! I have been a bone collector for years & have found many treasures riding & hiking the hills. I have a barrister book case with my smaller pieces displayed & am running out of places to put them all! Love your pics 🙂
Something about them tells a story… Thanks!
My goodness, what a wonderful collection these are. I love the painted ones, too, and have never seen any like this before. Thanks!
Thank YOU!
