Thanks Carol for a lovely video and song. Relaxing to watch and what wise words in the song, ‘slow down’. Something we all need to remember. There’s poem I can’t remember who wrote, but whose words stay with me, ‘what is this life so full of care, we have no time to stand and stare’. Well, stand and stare I did into that wonderful Longmire sunset.
Beautiful video! I appreciate your blog and read it every day, envying your ranch life, but also am very happy in mine. We’ll be camping for a week in the BigHorns starting Sunday, and again for a second week at the end of August. I live in Cody, and am thankful for all the amazing mountains we have available to enjoy. (Grew up on a farm in Nebraska, which incidentally, is a name derived from an Indian word meaning “flat water”, referring to the once very wide Platte River. (before irrigation dams changed that characteristic) I love Nebraska, but would find it very hard to live away from mountains, now! Blessings to you and your family!
I don’t know if it’s my end or yours, but the last two videos that you’ve posted are just black blank screens with nothing there. I tried clicking on the various hyperlinks (like the name of the video) and it takes me to another website and just had a still photo. Am I doing it wrong?

Best time of the day – sunset! Beautiful and relaxing. Thanks for the nice song, too.

You might need to check some updates… all my videos should be available on vimeo dot com under my name. Everyone else seems to be seeing them, sorry!
Will always be my home state & I miss her terribly. Absolutely beautiful, thank you.
