Well, I’m down in Casper attending the Wyoming Library Association meeting. Internet has been spotty, with absolutely none in my hotel room. So here I sit, in the wide main hallway at 10:30 at night, typing away on my ipad.
It is always an enjoyable meeting, with great ideas to take back to Ten Sleep and, perhaps with some modifications, try out on our patrons! WLA is full of good people willing to share ideas and support each other.
We will leave early tomorrow, just after listening to Margaret Peterson Haddix, author of many young adult novels. We usually wouldn’t cut out early, but our driver has family obligations, so that’s that… UNLESS…
I found out that Wild West Photo Fest is going on this weekend here in Casper. I submitted some photos last year, and somehow missed the notification about it this year. I have nothing in the contest, but I would simply love to attend the camera workshops and talks and see other photographers’ work. So. Anyone wanna give me a ride home Sunday morning? 😉
Yeah, I know. Poor planning. Hey, if I’d known about it sooner than 15 minutes before I left home, I might have been able to make a plan.
I didn’t take any photos of all my meetings today… You’re welcome! So I’ll go pull something from my archived pics. Until next time… Go enjoy a good book!
Find me here!
You are so faithful to this, no matter how busy or inconvenientit is! I enjoy this every day, daughter of my best friend! I love these daily pages!
You’re so sweet! I hope your doing better. Sorry we didnt have time to come by and visit…
I love to read. I enjoy the feel of a book in my hands. I’m reading “Winter Range” by Claire Davis right now. Well written, but sad. Hope you found a ride home.
