Celebrate

Posted on November 23, 2014

Powder River Pass 3We drove over the hill today to celebrate the twins’ third birthday (a little late).  The wind was howling on Powder River Pass, elevation 9,666′, but it made for a few great wintry photos!

That certainly looks like a cold wind. Love that mini fir tree, slightly bending in the wind that seems to be saying ‘ I will stand firm!’. We had our first frost of the winter last night, but looking out the window the cars do not seem too iced up. Lovely sunrise. The horizon is just turning pink. Maybe the washing will hang outside for a few hours. Hope you had a great time at the third Birthday celebrations. Where does the time go with our Grandkids !!!!!!
