Every One

Posted on December 4, 2014

Holy cow!  What a rocking day at the library today!

Decorating, tons of patrons, school facilities guy, more decorating, organizing and setting up new items for the auction… refreshed the 6th graders on research methods… opening packages, updating library facebook and emailing photos… answering questions, a few moments of dusting, rearranging and cleaning up the bulletin board… oh, Story Time was in there (thanks for sharing the gingerbread men!)… more book research, copying, and maybe you get the idea.  The list of things I DIDN’T get to had five items on it still…  Whew!

Our Friends of the Library wreath (version 2.0) for tomorrow’s Festival of Trees Auction in Worland.

TKU for the display idea for Christmas Carol. Our adult SS class has an Advent study based on A Christmas Carol. I had a doll-sized chair, made a top hat, crutch, painted a thread spool black for the candlestick and had extra damper chain from a furnace. Couldn’t come up with a small violin. It’s the centerpiece for our coffee time between church and SS.

    Enjoy your blogs, photos, etc.

Everything looks very nice. I have a question though. Why is Tiny Tim’s crutch so long? He was, after all, …tiny.

Wow! all that special decorating took a LOT of time! I really like the Dickens theme and the Victorian Christmas card display – well, EVERYTHING!
