I recently toured the Charles M. Russell museum. It’s set up so you start with his earliest works and progress to his oldest so you can see how his talent grew over the years. It’s enlightening and inspiring, especially for an artist, to see where he started and where he ended up.
In other words, keep at it. Practice makes…well, not perfect, because as a writer I can tell you art is never perfect in the eyes of the artist. But we get closer.

Both are beautiful but the pastel is my favorite
