Mud and Snow

Posted on November 21, 2016November 20, 2016

xxWell, it started to melt off today… but another storm is due tomorrow.  We’re at that lovely stage that starts a day frozen, icy, and cold, but by midday is a slimy, muddy, bog.  At least I have a huge “mud room” so that four cold, wet, happy, screaming grandkids can all come in and shuck their snowpants, gloves, hats, coats, and Very Muddy BOOTS, all at once.  As long as the snow stays on the shady side of the hill, they’ll be happy.

Nothing a little (or a lot) of water, cleaner, and a good mop won’t take care of!

In a house where Love abounds, mud is a small thing.

A mud room would have been useful today. Non-stop rain for most of UK. Roads flooded. Rivers overflowing. Dark all day. Not a nice day especially as my ‘waterproof’ boots resulted in wet socks when I got home. Maybe I should not have stepped in so many puddles around town!!!!! I’m cleaning floors as well.
