Hard Knock Life

Posted on January 29, 2017January 28, 2017

I’ve been watching these two munchkins the past two days…  We’ve managed to keep busy… including my little bout of cleaning where I tried to teach them the finer techniques of scrubbing floors.  They did well, although I was overly concerned with the amount of water Lorelei kept applying to the floor.  I guess I should have just considered it a “presoak” function.  Quinlan finally got the idea of “scrub one square of tile at a time, then wipe it up, and your jeans don’t get utilized as the mop rag…”

If I could have remembered all the words to “It’s a Hard Knock Life”, I would have sang it for them!

their concentration and obvious “enchantment” with the activity is priceless! You thought of selling used cars?

What a good grandma. Teaching even the tasks that are not fun. Your grandchildren are going to be wonderful adults.
