Christmas Prep

Posted on November 22, 2017November 21, 2017

I’ve been going in to work these past few days, putting in extra hours decorating and prepping the library for our Open House and Silent Auction on December 4th.  It’s a major fundraiser for the Friends of the Ten Sleep Library, and with our expansion underway… there will be lots of ways for us to support the library in the next few months.

With limited funds, I’ve been re-working the decorations, combining them in new and different ways so that people think we have new, cool stuff!  It’s always a challenge, but one I enjoy.

Bidding will begin when we return from the Thanksgiving holiday on Monday, and run through until 7:30 pm on December 4th.  Stop in at the library, get a number, and bid on a great gift item or something for yourself while supporting the library as well.

I’ll get pics for you… but tonight… here’s the kind of tree ornament I’m always happy to see year round…

Lovely to hear of a Library ‘growing’. Some in the UK are cutting the hours they are open and they stopped the mobile unit last year that has served our community for many years. My friend and husband now regularly take a group of Seniors to the town library.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

Yippee! Library is growing! Thanks for the picture, and I hope to see pics of the progress in the future. Good luck with the fundraiser.
