I drew the outline that I wanted on paper and bent the copper to match. Pysanky is a bit different. I usually pick what my main design areas will be… eternity bands, or quartered or third divisions… then maybe a theme. Like fish. Then I know there will be waves and nets and fish and bubbles… so I just start in, filling in larger areas first then adding more and more layers. It’s kind of hard to explain. Maybe I should write a post?????
Wow! That is really neat!
I have a question for your next Q and A. How do you go about designing/planning these, or any of your crafts (thinking pysanky, but also others)?
