Since weaning, the calves have been living a good life on some of our fields… but it’s time for fresh feed, so we gathered up a good crew and headed out.
Calves can be an excitable lot, and were for brief periods… it doesn’t help when my dog is beside herself to go!
The way to the new feed is along a narrow two track road… so the calves were easily strung out along it by two seasoned cowboys.
Daniel made sure they went the correct way…
Then gave Reagan her horsie time! She’s happy as a lark up there with daddy!

How sweet to see the young boys learning and doing their jobs, and even the beautiful little girl already on a horse with her Dad. A new generation of ranchers–it’s so heartwarming to see that!
