Day Somethingorother

Posted on April 30, 2019April 30, 2019

I have still been working on my woodburned table… but keeping track of how many days I’ve worked on it has gone by the wayside.

I decided to add a quote around the edges as well… “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.” C.S. Lewis

I think each open block will get a tiny subject and a colored background… but since the top was finished, I just couldn’t stand it… I had to start with some paint!

I’m beside myself! This is starting to look SO cool! I’m not sure how much longer it will take, but this nasty cold weather we’re having makes it easy to be inside and work on it!

Carol, that is a beautiful table and one that will be cherished by your Grandchildren. When I looked you up just now I got the main site of yours and it comes up a pharmacy and prices. Not yours. Weird. Sharon Drake South central Kansas.

I just love this! I have recently bought a woodburner kit. I have a long way to go to get to this level! I love the C.S. Lewis quote by the way.

What kind of wood burning tool are you using? I’ve got a wood & glass display box & bought a standard tool kit but haven’t tried it yet. I love this idea! Thank you

I have a basic TruArt burner that cost about $15… and I just purchased a Walnut Hollow variable heat burner. I still use the cheap one the most, though lettering is easy with the Walnut Hollow one. Best of luck and have fun!
