Pony Brigade

Posted on June 25, 2019June 25, 2019

Today was a 50/50 day… cowboyin’ in the morning, farming in the afternoon.

However, this morning, the Pony Brigade was out in full force.

Nothing cuter than seeing them ride along, working out the quirks of each pony. On occasion they might notice the cows too… whether or not they got their ponies there in time was another story.

They actually do pretty stinking good…

Best of all, they enjoyed themselves… which will encourage them to come back and improve next time!

That early age learning is so important to maintaining the food supply and why I think it is so important that the tax laws allow ranches and farms to be passed on to the next generation. Ranching is a way of life, not just a collection of skills.

Thank you so much for sharing your life with your readers.

I couldn’t be prouder knowing you and yours. Those little cowboys/girls will gro-up being good, focused adults. Glad I got to meet you and Vernon and see a tiny bit of your world.
