More cow work.
I opted to stay home with Quinlan and Lorelei… Tess had company and was exempted from work. That meant Megan was on duty… and she brought me photos!
Cows were gathered. A trip through the alley was in their future… and, gee whiz… the grass was tall around the corral!
Then it was on to the next pasture… boy, it’s very difficult to leave this one! The soil, the moisture, and being managed for grass makes a HUGE difference around these parts!
I think you can see why!
My babysitting came with its own adventure. Quinlan has been wanting to look for frogs. We looked in the pivot caused mud puddles, then tried to choose where next we might search. We came to the creek without making a plan… so I encouraged them to drop their socks, shoes, and jeans and go in search of frogs.
I handed Quinlan my net… told him not to go too far… then let them go. Oh, my goodness, they had a grand time!
Isn’t this just a darling little photo? Big brothers can be so awesome!
I don’t know what kind of filter my camera put on this automatically, but I sure like this last photo, too!Find me here!
