I love this photo…
When cows are “lined out”… well, here’s photographic evidence of that! And I wasn’t even in the lead!
I’ve got an early morning wakeup call for our big mountain trail drive… so I’m off to bed. Think of me when you see this on Tuesday… take a minute and let me know what your day was like, then you know I will share what mine was like!
Find me here!
Yesterday was finishing Peach freezer Jam, calling for a plumber, then a 60+ mile drive to the Ventura County Fair to judge floriculture. Finding a place to park was a chore, but the judging was fun. Then lunch/dinner and the drive home in heavier traffic. Daughters arrived from a two day trip with a dog favoring one paw, but tales on an interesting time. Then bed.
You asked, so here’s my day…..it was a Beautiful day outside near Chicago but I wouldn’t have known it,,8 hours in a doctor’s office performing mri’s, xrays, and being “pleasant” all day to patients. Then having injections on myself to ease knee pain.
Then home to make dinner and pay bills, etc. I DID think of you in your gorgeous land trailing cows with your family and dogs.
8 hours in the office sitting at the computer, 1 hour power washing my deck and 30 minutes on garden maintenance.
Pretty hot and humid here in Buffalo today. I like fall/winter weather best, but I do work in my small veggie garden early in the day. Pondering the idea of trying beets as a new planting!
Either going to add a small square foot garden box (4’x2′) or kill myself digging a 4×4 new area next to my garage. In this weather, it is easy to procrastinate. Need a few cool days.
Good luck with the long ride!
The “boss cow” always leads the herd, at least what I’ve heard, looks like it’s true, yesterday was a great day! upper 70’s , low humidity, a little windy, perfect day for bike riding, 25 miles, and yard work! today, Dr. appointment, more biking, and yard work, hope yours goes well!
