Riding Under the Double Rainbow

Posted on August 1, 2019July 31, 2019

Big Day.

It starts early.

In fact, it’s so dark, my camera won’t focus from my moving horse. Doggone it! This would have been a good one…

The sunrise was spectacular.

Did you notice the cowboy in the trees?

But then, the other way? Oh, wow!

Not just a rainbow… a supernumerary rainbow. It had extra bands because the raindrops are small and spherical. It was brilliant!

Then… a double rainbow.

I took photos, I took video… most didn’t turn out.

Even Panama rolled his eyes at me.

But the best picture of the rainbows goes to Tess… with this capture.

Amazing photos. Like you, my camera does not always capture the ‘beauty ‘ as I see it ‘live’. But that gives us a reason to get up early and catch the sunrise again and again. Love sunrises.

Worth the early rising! Cameras just can’t capture the magnificence of scenes like that. But the photos are certainly a wonderful hint.

Just plain amazing! Early morning & wide open spaces, throw in a double rainbow? I see lots of great puzzle possibilities-
