It was going to be a “Pony Day”… Four grandkids riding this smallish pasture, so to let their all the parents go along, that left me and my little bitty partner, Reagan, at home.
As usual, I miss being in the middle of the action… but sharing the delight of “Patty Cake” has its own rewards!
Tess and Lorelei (!) took some excellent photos of the action…
The last three are Lorelei’s photos… I’d say she has a pretty good eye!
There are actually a ton of pics that I liked from today… and, yes, I’ll share them soon… and then there’s Lacee’s tale… and the family groups… but THIS ONE… the one that Vernon took with his phone (yes, Vernon caved and got a cellphone – I’m the only holdout left)
Anyway… THIS PHOTO means a great deal to me. And I think I have to declare it one of my favorites… ever!

Sitting here with tears in my eyes! You all are Blessed! Thanks for sharing!
What a great photo of your family. You are a very lucky lady to have your kids and grandkids around like that. They are your treasures, and enjoy that little one. As you know, they grow up so very quickly. Blessings to you all, and thanks for sharing.
I love that last photo. It is priceless, good job Vernon.
Wow, Lorelei does have a pretty good eye for photography, amazing! And yes, your newest favorite photo is great. Priceless. Soon there will be a new Pony Day pic, and it will include you and Reagan (on Jackpot?)… 🙂
Btw, do you pronounce Reagan like Ronald or like Reegan?
Pronounced like the president
Hi and thanks! I’ve been pronouncing it correctly in my mind, then. 🙂
such a great family!
Totally agree. What an awesome photo. Great job Vernon. Too soon she won’t want to be the baby, so you will have great memories of the days of “Patty Cake”.
