Babysitter

Posted on January 12, 2020January 12, 2020

They gathered the pasture today. I played my Fairweather Cowgirl Card and stayed home and babysat.

It wasn’t a very pleasant day to ride, the wind came up, the sun went behind clouds and they had lots of cows to sort and trail in. In fact, they didn’t make it home until just at dark.

And I sat in a warm house and played with grandkids and threw a pot of chili together for the cowboys to eat.

The kids had fun…

Jaxon and Lacee learned how to finger knit.

And Vernon took the Photo of the Day as they were bringing the cows down Bruner Draw with the sunset reflected on the Big Horns.

Craft time is the best!!! The kids certainly will pick up a lot of different skills and ideas from their Grandma! Kudos to Vernon on a stunning photo.

Great picture Vernon, & the cows play follow the leader! I learned to knit when I was a kid, have no idea how to do it now-
