Yesterday’s Throwback Thursday post was from 2009. True to form, today, we did the same job. We can now put pairs out on pasture! Yay! The grass is trying its best to grow… even though we had another five inches of snow yesterday. The snow is now gone, and mud is drying out.
Jaxon and Lacee were along.
Some little cowboy didn’t have a perfect day… but he kept smiling. Yes, that’s mud on his face and coat.
Many more cows and calves will be moved out in the coming days.
Find me here!
So, I have to ask, did he fall off like the regular people? Looks like he’s making the best of it as all good cowboys do. What a cutie.
Lost his stirrups… I didn’t see it, but that’s what he told me.
That’ll do it. And he got right back on. Good job Jaxon!
I LOVE the last picture – lots of pairs of Mommas and Calves…very illustrative…maybe a nice calendar shot for next year! Have a great day.
I’m sure it’s hard to find good help out there just like it is back here. You guys are doing a great job of bringing along the next generation of hard workers, no maatter what they opt to do in life. I love seeing photos like these.
Good Job cowboying up Jaxon. A little mud washes of with the rain.
