The first move of taking cattle to higher, and cooler, pastures happened this morning.

If you look closely, you might notice four little cowboys along for the journey. Quinlan and Jaxon have done this trip before, but it was the first time for Lorelei and Lacee. They were excited.
Unfortunately, I only got photos of them from a distance. My job is to be up in the lead, and kids are delegated to the very back drag position. While Megan and Tess got some good photos of them, I sure didn’t.

I do love this trail, though… just because… I mean… it’s probably the most scenic place to trail cattle through!
But… I’ve waited far too late to share more… I have the kids about 5 am… so I’m calling it a night and I should have done that two hours ago!
Find me here!
Love the vistas. Thanks for sharing.
that is some good look’n country! I have an old yucca plant in my back yard, looks kinda sad this year, last year it looked like yours! I moved it to this house 33 years ago, before that it spent 9 years at my other house & before that it lived some where in Nebraska! don’t tell anyone, but mom & dad dug it up & brought it to me, so no idea how old it is, usually blooms every other year- This will possibly be it’s last home-
