Last week I spoke of introducing my grandkids to Little House on the Prairie. I also let the girls try on the prairie dress I had made back in 1990 for Wyoming’s centennial celebration. I had made one for Victoria as well, who was six that year. Well, I couldn’t find it, but I’m such a hoarder, I knew I hadn’t pitched it.
Sure enough, when Victoria was here helping us move cows… she found it!
All together now… awwwwwww…

Beautiful.
I’ll add my awwwwwwww!
I remember reading the Little House books to my girls. I think I enjoyed it as much as they did.
I know that feeling of finding a misplaced treasure – you and your daughter must have been delighted to find this prairie girl clothing, with all of its wonderful memories. And now your pretty little granddaughters get to share in the fun of historical dress-up, which was a favorite activity of mine when I was their age.
We were very thrilled to find it!
……awwwwwwww!!……..
AAAAAAAWWWWWW! Beautiful.
