Somehow, along the way… I decided that I would make a set of braided reins for each grandchild. My thought was that when they grew up, they would each have a full sized set of reins and say, “My grandmother made these reins for me!”
I decided I better get myself in gear and complete this goal I gave myself.
The first set I made is a red, white, and blue round rein.
No one has gone crazy for them yet… so I don’t know who will get this one.
Then Tess heard what I was doing… and since she doesn’t have a set of braided reins… she moved to the top of the list with this pink, silver, and black model.
Jaxon has put in his request… and though I halfway tried to talk him out of his choice of colors… perhaps he still will love orange and the Denver Broncos when he’s grown. His will be an orange, blue, and silver combination in a flat braid.
I’m not sure on anyone else’s choice of color at this point… but stay tuned, I’ll post more photos, hopefully, soon!
Find me here!
I want one too, and I don’t even own a horse! lol So pretty!
Just because I’m like that, How do you make them? I’m wondering is a braided dog leash would work.
Many people braid their dog leashes… I’ll try to come up with a new braiding post.
actually, the pink, black & white is my favorite! I think orange, blue & silver will look good also, wish I had a horse to use’em on- I was at the drag races last Sat, some far out color combinations on some of the race cars, a red, black & white dragster was my favorite-
Awesome. Who wouldn’t want one? I do.
