The talk of the past few days…
Here’s a photo I took some weeks ago.
Here’s the one I took today.
Smoke from all over the west, California, Idaho, Nevada, and Oregon has enveloped Wyoming. Not that we don’t have our own fires.
Facebook has been full of everyone posting photos of the sun.
A couple of minutes later… the sun starts to fade behind the thicker smoke.
The smoke isn’t actually thicker… it’s the angle that makes it seem that way. But way before the sun actually drops below the horizon, it is no longer visible.
If you stare at this photo enough, you can barely see the sun above the tall fencepost.
Please pray for rain, for firefighters on the ground and in the sky, for cooler temps and a return to clear blue skies.

Folks back here might worry about their brown crunchy lawns but they don’t have to worry about wild fires , thankfully. Hopefully mother nature decides to change the weather patterns to your advantage.
Definitely praying for rain after this very dry August Hope the wildfires and smoke do not get any worse for you..and my dear friends in California.
Praying!!!
Prayers for rain. Even our “green” Wisconsin has brown lawns. Only northern WI is getting rain. Our spring & early summer was extremely wet, now…
Those fires are so scary.
Praying.
