After Work

Posted on September 26, 2020September 26, 2020

Thanks for the concern with Blue and I.

He’s a good horse most of time… as evidenced by these photos at the end of the day.

Work is done… and it’s time to go home. However, ranch kids being who they are… they want a quick pony ride on their parents’ horses and Blue. Their ponies are short and fairly easy to mount, but full sized horses are a different story.

It takes some muscle to climb aboard.

Even little Reagan gets a chance at Big Blue. She’s thrilled.

I took mostly video… but there’s no mistaking that she’s a happy girl in these photos.

Great to see this! Getting kids involved with horses at such a young age is a blessing to their future selves. Too bad more kids aren’t so fortunate, as horses are amazing animals. Thanks for sharing this. https://www.horsegroomingsupplies.com/

Little girls and horses just bond naturally. And Regan wasn’t asking him to climb steep mountains.

there is also the fact that Blue is not your horse and your horse would have reacted differently. Horse folks understand. Reagan is a happy girl for sure. And Blue is a really good ranch horse.

Start’em young! Big Blue reminds my of my last pickup, “Ol Blue, a light blue ’77 Ford and with it’s ’78 Ford Mustang V8 engine, it was part horse, fun to “ride”, but hang on tight, it liked to run!!
