We continued work on my porch today… with rafters…

and my favorite… the old school bell is back!
We’re not finished yet… the bell needs bolted, the uprights screwed in, the interior tongue and groove, and eventually, blue tin to match my roof. I’m super thrilled with it!

I love seeing those old bells back in service even if it’s just to call everyone for dinner. We’ve got ours on a tall clothes line post. The porch looks great so far.
