Fog over the Big Horn Basin

Posted on October 19, 2020October 19, 2020

Vernon ran up to check the water in the Mesa Pasture first thing this morning. Fog lay thick in the bottoms and he drove out of it as he climbed in elevation. I posted a cool video he took on Facebook. I thought, people will think this is very cool. Well, a few did!

I figured I’d repost here, because I think it’s super cool!

Nature is amazing with views like this. We can get fog in the valley looking east from here some days. Always wonderful to look at.

I especially liked the end of the video, where there was sunshine on the tops of the hills. Beautiful! These oceans of fog are so striking.

I guess not everyone appreciates the awesome designs that nature makes.

Well done, Vernon, I would love to have that view everyday! Especially sitting by a nice warm fireplace in the middle of winter!

Really nice job Vernon. It is so beautiful. We only see just a tiny bit of what you see going down our grade.
