Twenty degrees with a slight snow falling… This morning was cold and not-so-pleasant. After lunch the sun did come out, although it only got up to 26 degrees, and I pulled myself away from crafting to go get some fresh air and photos!
I ran into Vernon and Daniel and a neighbor working on our cattle guard.
Cattle guards, like everything else, need maintenance. This one had filled up with dirt from runoff. Vernon had cleaned it out, pulling the cattle guard off first, of course. The young guys were just cleaning the edge up a bit with their shovels.
Daniel guides the small piece into place.
Then came the big section… ta-da! No horse or cow will think they can cross this now!Find me here!
