Well, I won’t make you wait until Friday… that new piece of equipment I showed you yesterday is NOT:
a hay feeder. We have big square bales, and we’ve built two flaker/feeders for them the past few years.
a bedding un-roller. Again, we don’t do round bales… even of straw, so, no.
a wire roller. Mmmmmm… yes, but more than just one wire!
fencing unroller. Right idea, but reverse it!
Combine the last two guesses and you’ll have it.
The new equipment is a wire fence winder by Peer Built out of South Dakota. We haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but here’s a video of one in action from YouTube.
It *is* Wednesday, so here you go, puzzle fans!
Find me here!
Enjoyed seeing that new, valuable piece of machinery in action, especially my husband, originally from ND, so interested in anything farm oriented.
Great puzzle! Happy New Year!
This is impressive and looks like a much better way to deal with loose barb wire and down /old fencing.
A double treat for today, thanks for the beautiful sunset puzzle.
Whoa!!! I’ve never seen anything like this! It is totally amazing. Kudos to those who invented it. I hope your guys aren’t “fighting” about WHO gets to use the new toy next! 🙂 Happy New Year and thanks for the puzzle, too.
Brilliant piece of kit. I thought bit was a bit too big to wind yarn!!!!!! As I write this New Zealand had ‘welcomed’!! In 2021, so wishing you all a very Happy New Year from this side of the pond. We’ll get there in 10 hrs.
That wire roller is a real man saver, even rolls woven wire- I like it! And the new puzzle is a great one also, Thanks and Happy New Year to all, hoping 2021 will be a GOOD one!! we need it-
WOW, WOW!!!!!!! Super back breaking saver. Any rancher would be nuts not to have one. I will be mentioning it to several ranchers I know. Thanks for sharing. Happy New Year to you and yours. Think of you often. The cranky leader of the pack is turning over a new leaf. Playing (this is AMAZING) with Sam. I’m never close enough to my camera when it happens.
That’s totally impressive and the sunset ain’t bad either!
