With some of my recent craft sales, I splurged and bought a trail camera. I’ve wanted one for years. Obviously, I’ve set it too high on one gatepost, looking across the open gate. It still captured some interesting shots… deer, birds, fantastic play of clouds and light, one antelope, and a coyote?
Does the ground drop down there by the gate? Because that looks more like a deer than a coyote to me, but I could easily be wrong.
Exciting new venture for you. Great photos even if the height is not as you would wish.
So that answers my question about what was on the post?
Those are neat photos for just out of the box.
I’ve never heard of a trail camera. Please enlighten.
This is terrific!! We will enjoy your splurge!
Great addition to your blog. The tall bird with red skin on the crown looks like a sandhill crane. Are they migrating through?
I had the same learning curve – on how high to set the camera. Now, I try to set mine at 18″ to 2′. The only critters that get their heads cut off that way are the elk. LOL!
Looking forward to seeing all the cool wildlife you capture!
Wow, great splurge that we get to enjoy too!
Wow what great pics and wildlife variety on that camera! Thanks for sharing!
Oh, what fun!!
