A few days ago, we revisited the red cliffs, home to pioneer signatures…
Home of tragic battles…
It was a very warm day… kids, adults, and one warm dog wandered around peering into cracks in the cliff. While we attempted to keep track of all the children… Bravo disappeared. Looking around a corner, I spied him…
What was he doing? Even with the close to ninety degree heat, the rock with its air currents through cracks in the cliff face was creating its own air conditioning. It was markedly cooler in that little depression. I wish I had a thermometer just to see how much cooler it really was! Bravo isn’t a fool, he plopped right down and enjoyed the coolness while the rest of us huffed and puffed in the heat.
Find me here!
Very sensible Bravo.
Smart dog! hopefully those scorching temps in the 90’s will be short lived.
Too high for man and beast.
He is so smart! that Bravo! You named him correctly.
He reminds me of the dog Buck on the movie “call of the wild”
What a smart dog!!! Bravo, Bravo.
You live in such an interesting area — arrowhead makings, dinosaur bones, wild life, cliff markings. the list goes on.
