Somehow it’s really easy to forget what day it is… or at least the idea that on Saturdays I hope to make videos… and realize too late at night to do that especially since we are saddling horses at 5 am tomorrow.
In fact, I’m declaring it too late to do much blogging of any sort…
I’ll leave you with a photo of “Isham”, a red tailed hawk from the Draper Raptor program up in Cody. He came to visit the summer reading program at the library. Isn’t he cool? Isham was also the name of Buffalo Bill’s white horse. It was a very popular name in the 1880’s.
He is beautiful. Amazing how the colours blend and change from head to body. So many shades.
He is VERY cool!! An interesting name, too. When I saw your title I thought, hmmm….a new white horse? Well, I think this is quite an honorable name for this gorgeous hawk who enjoys life around Cody, WY.
What a great photo! Thanks for sharing this
