More often than not, I have the pleasure of making the parts run to Worland when the guys break down their tractors, balers, discbines, pickups, or any other vitally important piece of equipment…
I’m not really a big fan of those trips… though eating out in Worland is a treat for me!
The best thing is heading home…
The afternoon sky is usually delicious for photography… thunderstorms roll in often that time of day.
So… This was brought to mind…
“I said in my heart that I am sick of four walls and ceiling.
I have need of the sky…”
Richard Hovey said that… I offer my version of sky…
… and my favorite…

I agree with Marilyn and Joan. Wide open skies and interesting clouds make for reflective ‘day dreaming’. We face east here in middle England and I love seeing the sun shining on distant hills and villages when we have lost it due to hills. Reminds me that although I can’t see the sun, it is still shining in the west.
There’s nothing better than driving under a gorgeous sky and seeing rain in the distance.
Beautiful.
When I went through Montana….well, the endless horizon and sky was beyond words. These pictures come very close! I never tire of sky gazing, especially along the shores of Lake Erie and Ontario here in W.N.Y.
