It seems like forever since I haven’t ridden while taking our cows to the mountain! I drove the “chuckwagon” a few years after my mother-in-law passed away… and I think I remember my mom coming along once… Then my sister started doing it while she was up here visiting, and since she’s moved back to Wyoming, she’s our “go-to” gal. This year, though, we had lots of help (YAY!) (meaning plenty of food) plus 5 kids to haul along and one dog and three adults… so my sister and brother-in-law took the food, drink, and three little girls in their pickup, while I had the boys, Bravo, and chores to do in mine.
They started extra early hoping to beat some of the heat… it ranged from 88-93 degrees up there ON TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN. That’s hot. It was 102 down here when we got home.

Beautiful, clear photos that really convey the action of what your crew was doing: great job, Carol.
That’s hot temps to work in. Pictures are great.
Makes me hot, thirsty, and tired just to think about it. Great pictures.
