Love Ya To The Moon and Back

Posted on August 14, 2021August 14, 2021

Morning work with a full crew… four kids, four adults… oh, and me!

It’s a work in progress… getting everyone situated. Riding that fine line between fun, serious work, safety, horsemanship, and stockmanship.

No, we can’t run our horses through here, it’s too rocky.

Stay here and turn the cows if they come this way.

Can you get that calf?

No, it’s not lunchtime yet.

See those trees? Those are aspen trees. They’ll be pretty in the fall.

Yes, you can make your horse do it. Try again.

Sometimes, it can be a struggle… but I *think* I did it with my kids… not that tempers never flared or frustration levels didn’t skyrocket, but they’re still around, so maybe they enjoyed riding as kids!

These short days are perfect for the little ones.

It leaves some time to attend a beautiful wedding in the afternoon!

Is he getting on or off? Who else os out of the saddle? I see an empty on behind on the left.
Questions prove they are looking and thinking.

What a gorgeous site for a wedding — covered in case of rain, open sides for ventilation and cool breezes.

Beautiful day for ranchwork – must take quite awhile to get all your horses saddled and ready! My that one horse seems pretty big for a youngster!
Beautiful day for a wedding in a very attractive setting.
