The Variety in Ranch Life – video

Posted on August 29, 2021August 29, 2021

Ranching always has a variety of jobs to do… range land monitoring, moving cattle, selling our yearling steers, tame mallards, semi-tame kittens, haying, and some wildlife. This video covers June 21 – June 30, 2021.

I liked riding thru the water on horseback! And the cat’s unique pose!
Everything was great in this video, and having the youngsters helping out is always nice to see.

I agree with JoAmy. What a talented cat.

In the sequence of calling the plants every 4 feet, what is the purpose of the shovel that the assistant is carrying? I can tell it’s an important job. Is it to take out any particularly noxious plants?

I think it was more to make the assistant feel important… and he is calling out plants every foot for 100 feet.

I love the sound of a creaking saddle.

Great video. My favorite was the cat straddling the house frame and door knob!
