It was soooooo horribly smokey today. All I had planned was a big giant grocery run to Worland, no scenic photos were taken. Good thing too, as visibility was the poorest I think I’ve ever seen. I stack all these smokey days against 1988 and the Yellowstone Fire. We had never seen the like, although Mt Saint Helens was close. Many of the days this summer rank right there. Today was the worst. At least there’s not ash falling from the sky or the overwhelming smell.
We’ve done a bit of cow work here and there. The best thing about that is you’re up high enough to be out of the smoke! Tess and Megan took some photos for me since I was out “adventuring” with the grandkids and my three “kids” were riding together.
It always does my heart good to see this. Daniel must be in the middle of a good story…
Look at these girls being good and walking just on the road! Well, most of them.
And look at that sky! Sweet!
When I rode Monday, it wasn’t quite as brilliant blue, but no matter the condition of the skies, I’ll always love living and working under Wyoming skies.

Lovely photos especially the last one.
I love Regan’s dress. Super for July 4, especially.
And it looks like Reagan might be in the middle of a good story!
Beautiful skies always. Let’s hope the wildfires can be stopped soon.
The last picture is so sweet! Thanks for sharing!
