We had FUN the week of July 15-22! The Ten Sleep Youth Rodeo is held with local entrants… ones with 20 year old horses and ornery ponies and loving support from parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and great-grandparents! I chose only to use a bit of music at the end so you could hear everyone wishing the best for the kids. I can’t help myself… I HAVE to cheer and encourage! We end back up with some ranch work… of course!

Great day. The ribbon race takes some real skill. Horses don’t want to go along nicely side by side.
The grands are all learning horsemanship in a fun way and getting better at it.
Such fun! and it was a beautiful day to support the kids’ rodeo. That ribbon event looks pretty hard!
Wonderful to see the grandkids enjoying themselves. My grandson won his first egg and spoon race at age 5. He did exactly as told. Get to the other side of the playground without dropping the egg. So he kept his hand over the top of the egg while he ran. Wise little guy!!!!
