Glow

Posted on November 28, 2021November 28, 2021

As I was working on putting out Christmas decorations… in almost 60˚ weather, I might add… the sky began to glow.

I had to run inside for my phone. It was just inside the door, I wasn’t going to waste light looking for my camera! There’s no filter going on here, just a bittersweet orange glow from the sunset.

This lenticular cloud looked like it was resting on the power pole. This is reflected light because I’m looking EAST.

I made a quick video… just because of the light and all the different cloud styles that it showcased. This is towards the WEST.

It began to fade… then it sharpened into a deeper shade of red. I didn’t snag a photo of that because we were headed to Megan’s birthday party! Technically, she and Reagan are birthday buddies, and today is their actual birthday, we just celebrated Reagan’s early.

Happy birthday to you both! I love you!

We got similar colours this morning as the sun rose. Like you got my phone to take a photo. Facing east, on a hill, it’s the sun rise that we enjoy, especially this time of year. Nature is amazing.

Wow!!! Great sky. Isn’t the old saying ” Red sky at night, sailor’s delight. Red sky in the morning, sailors take warning.” So I guess this means good weather tomorrow.
