This video covers from October 8 – 16, 2021. We preg test a small bunch at a leased pasture we call the Homestead. The old buildings are quite the scenic backdrop for my photos. Because the dirt road was too muddy for a pickup and horse trailer, we gathered our mountain pasture on four wheelers. A coming storm was looming and we wanted our cows down in elevation before it hit. Thankfully, everything went well. Snowmen in the highway, Hunter Fest and a Harvest Raffle, plus a t-shirt craft rounds out the video.

Wonderful video. Lovely commentary Carol. The fall colours around your house were stunning as were the photos within the video.
Twelve miles, but the cows were pretty quiet! Nice variety in the scenery along the way. Happy Trails!
Nice video. Shows work without the calves is quieter, just as it is without human kids.
I love the diversity of small town life that you show.
Thanks for your blog, Carol. I appreciate the difference between your life and mine, and while I wouldn’t trade, (I couldn’t stand the cold, for one thing) I enjoy the contrast.
