I’m pushing on trying to complete Megan’s table. I turned on my heaters and built a fire in the stove, then left to go do my dishes… hoping a little heat and some sunshine would make the studio much more comfortable. It certainly helped, and I spent a few hours listening to “The Greatest Treasure Hunt in History” and working on sunflowers.
I added a bit of shading to each one to help them *pop* a bit.
A yellow wash to match her kitchen wall will be applied, just to add a hint of yellow. A light grey stain will then be wiped on. I hope it turns out the way I want!
There is a gap in the middle, but I’m going to have “Greet, est. 2012” in that area. I drew it out but now I’m sitting here wondering if I did it too large and maybe it should be smaller and not so prominent. Decisions. Decisions!
Well, I’m happy to declare the sunflowers done with woodburning anyway…. Great way to end the day!
Find me here!
Looking great.
It has definitely turned out well, even though there is a little more to be done.
What is “The Greatest Treasure Hunt in History” — a podcast, book on tape??
Maybe a nice bumblebee or two could be added somewhere?
It’s definitely looking good.
Lovely!
Lovely
Beautiful shot, over the table, of that sunrise/set.
