We’d found the calf. Momma had hightailed it over a hill in search of it. Insert eye roll. Victoria and her son Matthew had quickly followed her trying to get ahead and turn her around. Turning a cow on foot isn’t easy, trying it in snow and mud makes it fairly impossible. It was going to be easier to take the calf to momma.

Brandon stepped in, picked up the now protesting calf and loaded it onto his four wheeler for a quick ride over the hill and back to momma.
