We went up on the mountain today, clear up on top. With these late storms, the big snowdrifts still lay lazily across the road. More snow is predicted up high for Sunday night, so they’ll be there for a while yet. With the side by side, we could manage the two tracks that cut away from the main road… and we soon arrived.
We hope to do a bit of fencing, so we called in the neighbors to discuss things.
They hiked around with the GPS, getting the lay of the land…
We saw a few elk…
Noticed how brown it was where the snow had just come off as opposed to the open sunny areas…
And we decided not to work on this fence quite yet.
