In Good Time!

Posted on June 24, 2022June 24, 2022

I love it when I complete a project in good time! My first version of a wool saddle pad took me over a year to make, neglected, however, over the summer months. This one took me right at a month! Daniel’s birthday present/just because present is done.

I gave it to him asap because we have our usual busy riding schedule going on… Today we gathered our Ritchie pasture and cut out 100 pairs. Tomorrow we will take them to the Slope pasture. While he often rides his big, black tall horses, today he rode little ”Swirly”.

I didn’t get it any too big… but it worked!

Hopefully, he likes it and uses it and it lasts for years…

What a great saddle pad. I’m sure it will last a long time.

Beautiful! I’m impressed that you finished it so quickly. I’ll bet the horse will like it, because it looks like it should be comfortable.

A labor of love for horse and rider. Looks like it will really last a long time.
