Slow Down

Posted on June 27, 2022June 27, 2022

Even though there is some yucca blooming, these white flowers are miner’s candlesticks, not yucca.

I always slow going through the Slope Pasture bottom gate, as it’s home to Indian Blanket flower…

Then there’s the elusive Prince’s Plume… Megan has seen it, but I’ve missed it… so I am using her photo of it to share with you!

All of these wildflower photos just to prove a point… there’s beauty all around us… sometimes we need to slow down to see it.

I love these flowers, too, and I caught some photos of the princes plume, though this is the first that I have known their name. There were quite a few south of the gravel pit this year!❤️ Thanks for sharing!

These wildflowers are so lovely, and such a joy to find. Every spring and summer I remember Ralph Waldo Emerson’s beautiful quote: “the earth laughs in flowers.”

So very true. ‘What is this life so full of care, we have no time to stand and stare. (WHDavies 1871-1940). Wonderful photos.
