Ready

Posted on September 12, 2022

I’ve been working on photographing old photos and sharing them with family members. One kind that appeals to me, is the line of cowboys ready to go to work. I enlarge them, looking at the build of the horses, the tack, the clothing and hats of the cowboys… and the country behind them. Where are they? What were they doing?

So today, before we headed out…

It’s difficult to fit everyone in the photo and see their faces.

So for posterity: left to right…

Reagan on Jaycee

Tess on Chexie

Daniel on Zap

Jaxon on Panama

Lacee on Charles

Clinton Breeden on ?

Carol on Milo

Brandon on Calypso

Victoria on Bucky (Rosin)

Dogs: Bravo, Jekyll, Tina, Roper

Gathering for weaning/preg testing in the mountain pasture with Fossil Butte behind. Not shown: Waylon on Beau, Matthew on Blue, Vernon on four wheeler, Lauren Griese on four wheeler. Smoky skies due to wildfires in Idaho.

We’re ready!

Love the line up of workers, saddened by the wild fire smoke.
