And They Did

Posted on October 28, 2022

I drove down today to see the final product of yet another water project. We had laid this pipeline last year, I believe… but the end had simply run into a pond. There’s nothing wrong with that, but it will freeze over and cows will walk in it and sometimes it’ll be muddy… so they wanted to put a tank on the end of the line. And they did.

Salvaged concrete comes in handy… I arrived just as they were wiring on protective boards to prevent the cows from rubbing on the drain pipe.

Cows will rub on anything, in case you didn’t know, so put stuff up and away or fence them out or put it inside.

Everything seems to work, the water will continue to drain into the pond, but now cows (and wildlife) will have a nice clean tank to drink out of.

You’re welcome.

So cows are like little kids and you have to anticipate what they’ll do that you don’t want them to and prevent it. Experience triumphs again. Rnachers rock!!!
