workworkwork Movie

Posted on January 10, 2023

Sorry about last night… when you wait until late to write your post… and then it won’t let you sign in… it doesn’t take too long before you just give up and go to bed! I don’t have that much patience late at night.

But! I did sit down this evening and make a movie. Yeah, I know, I can’t believe it either. My last Re-Red Movie where I condense photos and videos (some I’ve shared, some I haven’t) was last made in MAY. HOLY COW. Life was going on… and movies take time… so something had to give and it was movies. While I may spend an hour a night on an average blog, movies take 3 hours or more to select and crop photos and videos and upload and fill out all the details for YouTube. It’d be a MAJOR difference if I just videoed myself talking or demonstrating something, but, no, I take photos! And don’t forget the MUSIC. That takes FOREVER. I’m starting to just reuse what I have just to avoid having to listen to 20 songs to find one I like.

Whine session over.

This movie covers from the middle of May to the middle of June, a very busy time. Lots of cowboyin’ and wildflowers and snow on the mountains and high water and GREEN. MY OH MY AT THE GREEN!

Well worth the wait!!! The lush green made me sigh and the music just adds to the serenity. Loved to see the family working together.

    Thanks and well done.
PS. I find it interesting that the bulls get along well together as long as it isn’t breeding season. Is it just that there are no ladies present?

There’s always a pecking order with bulls but yes, it gets worse during breeding season. That’s what we were doing in various pics and the video, putting the boys out to “work”.

Thank you for your untiring devotion to photographing the beautiful world around you, and in making another stellar video!! Simply beautiful with the surprise of riding through the “rookery” near the end. Everything about this video was super.

Herons don’t look like they’d nest in trees, so I love finding their hidden rookeries!
