Remember my chicken tractor?
It has been in a state of disuse… since I now free range all my chickens out of a solid coop, I decided to sell the thing… and maybe make a bit of money. But first I asked Victoria if she wanted it. She did! This morning she drove over from Kaycee and we loaded her up with the tractor, some raspberries, rhubarb, wheat, and fertilizer. She already has five chicks, so they’ll move right in when she gets it set up.
Since the day was absolutely glorious, Victoria helped me pull out some of my garden supplies. I’m happy, though I know I won’t be planting for a while yet. Then before we knew it, it was time for a birthday party for Lorelei. Matthew has recently celebrated his 8th birthday, but weeks later, Lorelei is now 9 with Lacee to follow the first week of June.
Time is marching on!

So good that the chicken tractor is being recycled. Happy Birthday to Lorelei. My grandson will also be 9 this coming week. I also have a birthday with numbers I don’t want to think about. I’m just happy to be here, enjoying my Grandkids as my Mom and her Mom never lived to see their GKs.
It was fun to see the chicken tractor again! Glad it is getting a new home.
Great decorations, too! Happy Birthday to Lorelei.
Love the joy in Lorelei’s face! Looks like a happy day. That is a very nice chicken tractor!
Victoria is lucky to get it. 🙂
Enjoy those grandkids, they grow up so fast. Ours are 16 and 21 and it seems they grew up overnite.
