Thanks for your questions about Bravo and his toenail. It was repaired quite easily by the vet, in fact, Bravo didn’t even flinch. Vernon and I were more squeamish as the vet yanked the nail off than Bravo! It still makes me shiver but Bravo didn’t even blink an eye. He was tender footed yesterday, but seems his normal self today.
I’m working on my yard in between rain showers… developing a new flowerbed and getting Vernon to help cut down a bush and two trees. The honeysuckle bush had grown so tall it had began devouring my flags since my flag pole is a bit on the short side! It had overshadowed some planters and flowers and was getting wider and taller. I really hated to cut it but it was cheaper to cut the bush than buy a tall flagpole!
I also had Vernon cut two young saplings that had sprouted from the roots of our cottonwood. While I’m definitely a supporter of the logging industry, cutting down trees in Wyoming seems like a minor felony or at least, be sacrilegious. I have planted so many trees in this state, begging them to GROW that when I cut one down it just seems so WRONG!

Five loads of limbs later and you’d never had know they existed. It still seems wrong, though!
Find me here!
Glad to hear that Bravo’s on the mend although, pulling the toenail made me flinch as well.
If trees would just be a bit more careful of where they come up volunteer…
